In cooperation with the Links der Weser Hospital, the Bremen Heart Centre carries out more than 7,500 cardiac catheter examinations in their three catheter laboratories. More than 2,000 of these involve balloon dilatations (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty - PTCA).
All services provided from a single source and each year more than 14,000 patients are examined using non-invasive techniques.

In general, all examinations and treatment procedures are perfromed by the same physician, who took the patient's medical history, carried out the non-invasive tests and discussed with the patient, the indication and potential complications of the procedure.
Personal attention
Immediately after the procedure, the results and further procedures are discussed with the patient.
Aviation Medicine
Since 1996 the Bremen Heart Centre has been operating an Aviation Examination Centre, currently carrying out some 200 to 250 examinations per year.
These include medical fitness examinations to professional and private pilots, airline captains, cabin crew, parachutists, etc.
The Centre also provides consultation on health issues relating to medical fitness examinations and will help you to return to the cockpit should you be temporarily deemed unfit.
The physician in charge of the Examination Centre is certified by the LBA and possesses a professional pilot's license with instrument flight authorization and two-engine rating (CPL/IFR, No. 11603-LBA)
MHL (Medilux Healthcare Ltd.) promotes selected clinics and certain specialities within individual hospitals, where we believe the standards of care and medical equipment to be exceptional. Sometimes we provide a dedicated e-mail address and we pass your enquiry to the relevant department but we cannot advise or enter into correspondence about individual cases and we do not arrange or facilitate treatments.
